Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines using the modern GCP stack and hybrid architecture. You will partner with business stakeholders and engineers to enable analytics and BI solutions, owning data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and performance tuning.

The role requires 3+ years in SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and on-prem data warehousing, with strong communication and ownership in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with SQL and relational databases.
• 3+ years in cloud data engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 3+ years on-prem data platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Programming in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data warehousing.
• Hands-on dimensional modeling, schema design and data warehousing.
• Experience troubleshooting data issues and performance improvements.
• Strong communication and ownership in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build robust, scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders, analysts and engineers to enable data-driven decisions.
• Own the data lifecycle from modeling to ETL/ELT development and optimization.
• Tune performance, troubleshoot data issues and implement best practices.
