Job summary

HCLTech in Cary, NC is seeking a Data Engineer (HEDIS Reporting) to advance healthcare analytics and reporting capabilities.

You will lead onshore data engineering for HEDIS initiatives, translate requirements into robust solutions, and develop SQL/ETL workflows with Informatica and IICS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline is required.
• 10+ years of Data Engineer experience.
• Experience with HEDIS reporting and healthcare analytics.
• Experience with healthcare data sources (Payers, EHR, Claims, Provider data).
• Strong SQL and ETL development skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Onshore Data Engineer (Senior/Expert Level) supporting HEDIS reporting initiatives.
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust reporting solutions.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, ETL processes, and scripts for healthcare reporting.
• Design, develop, and support data integration workflows using Informatica and IICS.
• Generate accurate reports and resolve data discrepancies through analysis.
• Perform data validation and root-cause analysis across healthcare systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across reporting platforms.
• Support continuous improvements in data engineering and analytics processes.
