Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA seeks an IT HEDIS Manager to lead technology, data integration, platform operations, and validation for the HEDIS program. You will oversee ETL teams, production support, data-quality controls, and reporting, partnering with quality, business, vendor, audit, and project stakeholders.

You will also support a major HEDIS engine replacement initiative, including migration to a future-state platform with Arcadia supporting portions of HEDIS and NCQA-related

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in healthcare data, payer tech, analytics, or related IT functions.
• Three+ years leading ETL, data engineering, or production support teams.
• Experience supporting HEDIS data processing, validation, or engine migrations.
• Knowledge of payer enrollment, claims, encounters, and NHQA-related data.
• Experience with HEDIS vendors/platforms and NCQA audits (preferred).
• Familiarity with ECDS, FHIR, HIE integration, and clinical data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT functions supporting the organization’s HEDIS program.
• Oversee ETL developers, data feeds, and production operations.
• Coordinate validation, audits, and reporting deliverables with stakeholders.
• Manage vendor coordination and technical documentation efforts.
• Support migration and validation activities for HEDIS engine replacements.
