Job summary

b.well Connected Health is building a scalable data integration platform that ingests EHR, wearables, and other health data to power marketplace bookings. You will own supplier integrations, ensure real-time and batch data flows, and normalize data into standard FHIR resources to keep availability fresh for bookings.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, AI-assisted data mapping, and PHI-safe practices on a small, AI‑native team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering, data integration, health IT, or healthcare interoperability.
• Experience owning production pipelines end to end, including on‑call.
• Experience integrating external partner data through batch file feeds and APIs.
• Strong Python and SQL, with solid ETL/ELT, change data capture, and incremental processing.
• Experience with PHI/PII handling under HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate supplier integrations through batch channels and real‑time APIs.
• Normalize supplier data into FHIR resources (Slot, Schedule, Location, PractitionerRole, HealthcareService).
• Build idempotent, incremental loads with freshness metrics and confirm-at-booking flow.
• Maintain production health with orchestration, alerting, on‑call, and root cause analysis.
• Handle PHI and encrypted files safely, and write unit/integration tests for pipelines.
• Build reusable supplier adapters and AI skills for others to use.
