Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Data to advance the Starlink data platform. You will own and expand data pipelines, build scalable systems, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable software for a satellite broadband ecosystem.

You will work on end-to-end data processing, storage, and analytics, leveraging modern frameworks and databases. Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and a passion for mission-driven impact are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math, physics, or scientific discipline; OR 7+ years of professional software experience
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science
• Experience with large-scale data processing and analytics frameworks is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop a highly reliable and scalable enterprise data platform
• Create end-to-end data pipelines to improve business operations
• Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews
