SpaceX is hiring a Software Engineer, Data for Starlink to build and scale a data platform powering the world’s largest satellite internet system. You will own ingestions, processing, storage, and queries at petabyte scale and drive data pipelines end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant software/data experience.
• 1+ years in full stack, software engineering, data engineering, or data science.
• Strong coding and problem-solving skills with data-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop a reliable, scalable enterprise data platform for petabyte-scale ingestion, processing, storage, and querying.
• Create end-to-end data pipelines and new functionality to improve SpaceX operations.
• Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews with peers.
• Build prototypes to validate design concepts and constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Apply first principles to solve business problems and optimize solutions.
