Job summary

Amazon is building a greenfield finance data platform for FAIM in the Ads organization. We seek a senior Data Engineer who can architect scalable ETL pipelines on Redshift and related tools, model data, and mentor a growing team.

You will partner with Finance Managers, PM-Ts, Scientists, and Engineers to deliver durable data products, set quality standards, and drive automation across the data stack in Seattle and beyond.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• 1+ years developing and operating large-scale BI data structures with ETL/ELT.
• 1+ years developing and operating large-scale data structures using SQL.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and deliver durable data products.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data warehouse direction for FAIM.
• Build and operate Datanet/ETLM jobs, Cradle profiles, Andes datasets, dashboards.
• Ingest telemetry from Andes subscriptions, EDX, S3 into a clean query-ready layer.
• Deliver on OP1/OP2 cycles, MBR/QBR rhythms, and ad-hoc executive asks.
• Create well-documented dimensional models and set data quality standards.
• Lead code/design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
