Job summary
Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer to build scalable data-lake analytics systems for the Ads AI Core Infra. You will drive design, partner with product and program managers, and own components across ETL and back-end services.
You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, and ensure reliable operations while delivering high-impact features powering data insights for Ads teams.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 6+ years of programming with at least one language.
- 6+ years of leading design or architecture of systems.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Engage with Product, Program Managers, Senior Managers to understand customer requirements and brainstorm solutions.
- Apply technical expertise to solve complex software problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategize, design and launch services for medium-to-large scale projects across Spektr Data lake core components.
- Provide guidance to and mentor other SDEs in the team with testability and maintainability.
- Participate in operational responsibilities with the team and track metrics.
