Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and deploy data-intensive analytical products that help advertisers understand cross-channel advertising performance on and off Amazon
• Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Spark (Scala), EMR, Redshift, S3, and Elasticsearch to process hundreds of discrete daily executions
• Develop and maintain JVM-based services and React UIs that surface analytics and recommendations to brand advertisers
• Cut through ambiguity to architect creative solutions to hard engineering problems at massive scale
• Introduce new processes and technologies that meaningfully improve our data infrastructure and product capabilities
• Collaborate with a talented engineering team to design scalable, elegant solutions to complex analytical challenges
