World Emblem International is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and own a centralized data platform on Microsoft Fabric. You will design ETL/ELT pipelines from Business Central and middleware, and own the lakehouse/warehouse architecture alongside AI initiatives and enterprise reporting.

You will implement high-quality database objects, performance tuning, and data quality processes, while collaborating with AI and Reporting teams to enable analytics and governance across the organization.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering and SQL Server development.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Data Factory pipelines, or Dataflows Gen2) is mandatory.
• Expert T-SQL skills with advanced database design, views, and indexing.
• Experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL (Azure SQL Database or Managed Instance).
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines with Microsoft tooling (Fabric Data Factory, ADF, or SSIS).
• Strong expertise in Data Warehousing & Dimensional Modeling (star schemas, SCDs).
• Experience integrating data from ERP systems via APIs, OData, web services, or DB connections.
• Git and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent communication to explain complex data topics to stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Data Platform Architecture & Build: participate in architecture planning for the Microsoft Fabric platform.
• ETL / ELT Development & Integration: design and maintain pipelines and data extraction from various sources.
• Database Engineering: build tables, views, procedures, and optimize query performance.
• Data Quality & Operations: implement automated quality checks and monitor pipeline health.
• Reporting & AI Enablement: support Power BI/SSRS migration to the new platform for analytics.
