CVS Health is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines powering analytics and data science workloads. This hands-on role requires translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.

You will model the Core Data Domain and collaborate with data scientists, analysts and product owners to enable fast, cost-efficient insights across the enterprise. Required: 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, Python for ETL, and cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applicable work experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and complex queries.
• Experience in Python for ETL pipelines.
• Experience deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of data governance best practices in a cloud environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and product owners.

Responsabilités

• Data Modeling & Architecture: Develop and optimize data models and schemas for analytics and ML workloads.
• Data Pipeline Development: Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and transform large datasets from multiple sources.
• Performance optimization: Tune, partition, and cluster data to optimize queries and reduce costs.
• Data Quality & Governance: Establish data quality standards, governance, and security for data storage and access.
• Data Integration & Transformation: Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design data solutions that integrate with BI tools and ML models.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive documentation and mentor junior engineers.
• Design and architect data infrastructure for analytical workloads with data warehousing concepts and data marts.
