CVS Health is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines powering analytical capabilities. The role is hands-on and focuses on translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.

You will contribute to data modeling for the Core Data Domain and work with analytics teams to support BI and ML workloads. A strong cloud background and collaboration with data scientists are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of applicable work experience in data engineering or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and ability to develop complex queries.
• Proficient in Python with ETL pipelines.
• Experience deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of data governance best practices in a cloud context.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and product owners.

Responsabilidades

• Data Modeling & Architecture: Develop and optimize data models and schemas to support analytics, reporting, and ML requirements.
• Data Pipeline Development: Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform large datasets from multiple sources.
• Performance Optimization: Tune performance, partitioning, and clustering to optimize queries and costs.
• Data Quality & Governance: Establish data quality standards, governance frameworks, and security policies for data storage and access.
• Data Integration & Transformation: Collaborate with data scientists to design data solutions integrating with BI tools and ML models.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create documentation for pipelines and workflows; mentor junior engineers.
• Design and architect data infrastructure for analytical workloads; understand data warehousing concepts and data marts.
