CVS Health is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines powering analytics. You will join a team building datasets for analytic and data science workloads and model the Core Data Domain to support access patterns and use-cases.

The role requires ~5+ years of experience, strong SQL, Python ETL, and cloud deployment (Azure/AWS/GCP). Excellent collaboration with data scientists and analysts is essential. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applicable work experience.
• Strong SQL and complex query development.
• Experience with Python for ETL pipelines.
• Cloud deployment of data pipelines (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of data governance in cloud environments.

Responsabilités

• Data Modeling & Architecture: Develop and optimize data models for analytics and ML workloads.
• Data Pipeline Development: Build ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting data from multiple sources.
• Performance Optimization: Tune partitions, clustering, and queries to reduce costs.
• Data Quality & Governance: Establish quality standards and data governance practices.
• Data Integration & Transformation: Collaborate with data scientists and BI teams.
• Documentation & Mentorship: Document pipelines and mentor junior engineers.
• Architect data infrastructure for analytical workloads and data marts.
