Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, CA is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Enterprise Data and Analytics team. You will implement and maintain the infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytical environments that support enterprise reporting and advanced analytics.

Initial projects include migrating infrastructure to Microsoft Fabric and expanding the data platform for dynamic reporting, NLP and ML capabilities, with emphasis on data quality and scalable ETL processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years with SQL or NoSQL databases and data warehousing technologies.
• 2+ years hands-on experience creating data pipelines using Python.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain infrastructure, tools, and analytical environments for data flows.
• Ensure data movement, transformation, and quality from source systems to analytical consumption.
• Support migration to Microsoft Fabric and expansion of the data platform for dynamic reporting and advanced analytics.
