Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Data Engineer to implement and maintain the infrastructure, tools, and analytics environments that support the enterprise data platform. You will work on the Enterprise Data and Analytics team to ensure data flows with quality from multiple sources toward analytical consumption, including a migration to Microsoft Fabric and expansion for dynamic reporting and advanced analytics.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) or

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL and data warehousing.
3+ years with ETL tools or BI.
2+ years creating data pipelines with Python.
2+ years as a Data Engineer.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain the infrastructure, tools, and analytics environments supporting the enterprise data platform.
Move data from multiple source systems toward analytic consumption and ensure data quality.
Lead migration projects to Microsoft Fabric and expand the data platform for dynamic reporting and advanced analytics capabilities.
