Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a data engineer to implement and maintain infrastructure and analytics environments supporting the enterprise strategy. You will ensure data movement and quality from multiple sources to analytics consumption, and lead the migration to Microsoft Fabric with future expansion for advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years with SQL/NoSQL databases and data warehousing.
• 2+ years creating data pipelines using Python.
• 2+ years hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the infrastructure, tools, and analytics environments supporting the UCI Health enterprise strategy.
• Ensure proper data movement, transformation, and quality from source systems to analytics consumption.
• Lead the Microsoft Fabric migration and expand the data platform for dynamic reporting and advanced analytics.
