Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, integrate, and implement data solutions across on-prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with engineering, analytics, data science, and product teams to reimagine healthcare data delivery and support migrations to the cloud.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL, cloud platform experience (AWS/GCP/Azure), on-prem DB experience, Python and PySpark, and solid data warehousing skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational database management systems.
• 2+ years in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 2+ years in on-prem Data Engineering Platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Programming in SQL, Python, and PySpark for Cloud and on-prem data warehousing.
• Hands-on with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on with troubleshooting data issues and performance improvements.
• Willingness to take ownership in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
