Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to collaborate with engineering, analysts, data scientists and product teams to deliver high quality data solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will design, integrate and implement data solutions, and help migrate workloads to the cloud while processing payer files into our Data Warehouse. Strong SQL, Python, PySpark and both cloud and on-prem platforms are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational DBMS
• 2+ years in cloud data engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake)
• 2+ years on-prem data engineering platforms (MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata)
• Programming in SQL, Python, and PySpark
• Dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
• Troubleshooting data issues
• Performance improvement techniques
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to own process improvements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams
• Process payer files into our Data Warehouse
