Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver modern data solutions, combining on‑prem and cloud workloads. You will work with engineering, analytics, and product teams to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines for our data warehouse environment.

You will leverage SQL, Python and PySpark, with cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure as well as on‑prem systems such as MS SQL Server and Oracle. Strong modeling and data warehousing skills are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational DBMS
• 2+ years in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake
• 2+ years in on-prem Data Engineering Platforms such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata
• Programming in SQL, Python, PySpark for cloud and on‑prem data warehousing
• Experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
• Experience troubleshooting data issues
• Experience with performance improvements techniques
• Willingness to drive process improvements and own work in a fast-paced team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities
