Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will design, integrate, and implement on-premise data platforms while supporting cloud migrations.

You will collaborate with engineering, analysts, data scientists and product teams to process payer files into our Data Warehouse, using SQL, Python and PySpark. Experience with data warehousing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems.
• 2+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake etc.
• 2+ years of experience in on-prem Data Engineering Platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc.
• Programming and modifying code in languages like SQL, Python, and PySpark to support and implement Cloud based and on-prem data warehousing services.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting data issues.
• Willingness to identify and implement process improvements, and best practices as well as ability to take ownership to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
