Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, integrate, and implement modern data solutions across on-prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with engineering, analytics, data science, and product teams to move payer data into our Data Warehouse.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, PySpark, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and on-prem systems (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata), plus dimensional modeling and data quality practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems.
• 2+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake etc.
• 2+ years of experience in on-prem Data Engineering Platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc.
• Programming and modifying code in languages like SQL, Python, and PySpark to support and implement Cloud based and on-prem data warehousing services.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting data issues.
• Hands-on experience with various performance improvement techniques.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
