Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data Operations Team at Fort Meade, MD. You will lead a technically focused group responsible for reliability, uptime, and fast delivery of mission-critical data sets, interfacing with customers to translate needs into actionable engineering tasks.

You will guide data pipeline automation and monitoring, oversee system stability, and drive proactive improvements across distributed data infrastructure while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in technical operations, systems engineering, or data management with a Bachelor’s degree; or 7+ years with a Master’s in related field; or 13 years with HS diploma.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data pipelines; strong data governance and security awareness.
• Must be able to work on customer site at Fort Meade, MD 4-5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technically focused DataOps team responsible for reliability, uptime, and speed-to-delivery of mission-critical data sets.
• Translate mission requirements into technical workflows; ensure automated, documented pipelines.
• Oversee data flows deployments using standardized templates and core libraries from Engineering.
• Monitor pipeline health and optimize data availability with low latency.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with mission needs.
• Maintain high-touch communication with clients and support issue resolution across distributed environments.
