Erias Ventures in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance analytics, real-time systems, and data-driven software. You will work on complex systems, perform design input, and improve documentation with a focus on performance and scalability.

The role requires strong Python, some C++, Git, and CI/CD experience, and may involve leading a team within the chosen software development process. Clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required; or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with substituted experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards

• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Develop simple data queries for existing databases or data repositories
• Write or review software and system documentation
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure timely delivery
• Design or implement complex algorithms requiring strict timing and resource constraints
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to meet specifications
