Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to lead the Data Operations Team, focusing on reliability and fast delivery of critical data sets. You will be the primary technical contact for stakeholders, translating mission requirements into scalable workflows.

You will drive automatic, self-healing data pipelines, oversee DataOps operations, and maintain high-touch client communication while delivering measurable data reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in technical operations or data management with a Bachelor's.
• 7+ years with a Master's in a related field.
• Active Secret US Government clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interface & Engagement: liaise between customer and tech team; translate data needs into actionable tasks.
• Operational Leadership: manage daily DataOps operations to accelerate data availability and minimize latency.
• Systems Engineering Oversight: oversee deployment/maintenance of data flows using templates and libraries.
• Performance Tuning: monitor clusters and pipelines to ensure data health and minimize latency.
• Strategic Alignment: drive evolution of the data platform toward automated, proactive operations.
• Ecosystem Coordination: coordinate scripts/flow strategies across the ecosystem.
• Quality Governance: implement automated quality gates and schema validations.
