Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize modern data platforms, pipelines, and cloud‑based analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will lead scalable data ecosystems and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission‑critical data.

You will build ETL/ELT pipelines, data architectures, and governance using Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering or related roles.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and data processing frameworks such as Spark.
• Experience designing production data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar environments.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and optimize data architectures, models, and storage across cloud/hybrid environments.
• Develop and maintain data engineering solutions using Python, SQL, Spark.
• Implement cloud‑native data platforms leveraging AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake.
• Design CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Lead data integration, migration, and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards.
• Monitor and optimize pipelines and production environments.
• Mentor junior data engineers and share knowledge.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical evaluations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
