Ideal candidates will have hands-on data engineering tools, experience with Databricks, Azure Functions, Docker, Kubernetes, and strong SQL/PySpark skills. U.S. citizenship or clearable status is preferred for federal-oriented work.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum five years of data engineering or related experience.
• Experience with Java, Python, SQL, PySpark, and API development (REST/SOAP).
• Familiarity with Databricks and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience operating in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Build and optimize data architectures to support analytics and operations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and version control.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using Azure Functions and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with DBAs and developers to design data models and APIs.
• Ensure data quality with monitoring, logging, and validation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain high availability.
• Document data flows and solutions for knowledge sharing.
