Guidehouse seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize modern data platforms, pipelines, and cloud-based analytics solutions. You will build scalable data ecosystems, lead technical efforts, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical data solutions.

Responsibilities include designing pipelines, optimizing data models, implementing CI/CD, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering with scalable pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong Python, SQL, Spark and data processing framework skills.
• Experience designing production data pipelines in cloud/hybrid envs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and Databricks/Snowflake.
• Ability to implement CI/CD for data workflows and DevOps practices.
• Experience in agile software development and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and optimize data architectures, models, and storage across cloud/hybrid envs.
• Develop data engineering solutions using Python, SQL, Spark, and related tech.
• Implement cloud-native data platforms leveraging AWS, Azure, Databricks, and more.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for data workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Lead data integration, migration, and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards in designs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and production environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across teams.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and engineering best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation including data flows and deployment procedures.
• Role contingent upon contract award.
