Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and evolve the enterprise data platform powering reporting, analytics, planning, and automation. You will build scalable pipelines, data models, and API integrations that transform operational data into trusted, actionable information for stakeholders.

You will influence architecture decisions, modernize core data infrastructure, and collaborate with BI, FP&A, IT, and business teams to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions that drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience designing and maintaining production ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex query development and performance tuning; large relational datasets.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or similar integration tools.
• Experience developing data models, views, and semantic layers for enterprise reporting.
• Working knowledge of API-based integrations with third-party systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop and optimize enterprise data models, views, and semantic layers.
• Engineer and maintain API integrations with third-party platforms.
• Monitor pipeline health and data quality with automated validation and alerts.
• Tune query and pipeline performance and propose architectural improvements.
• Promote engineering best practices and contribute to data governance.
