Job summary

Foundation Software is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and standardize our data platform. You will shape data architecture, modeling, ETL/ELT, and cloud data services, partnering with stakeholders to deliver scalable data products.

The role is hands-on, requiring experience from architecture through production support, and offers opportunities to influence data governance, performance, and reliability across analytics, BI, and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Engineering, Math, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Expert-level SQL for dimensional modeling, indexing, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and manage data repositories, data integration solutions, and scalable pipelines.
• Implement CI/CD practices for data pipelines and transformations.
• Design monitoring, observability, and operational support for data pipelines and platforms.
