Job summary

BMH is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build and operate the company’s enterprise data warehouse and related ingestion pipelines. You will consolidate data from multiple ERP platforms and support executive reporting, self-service BI, and AI-enabled analytics across a nationwide, multi-site scope.

The role partners with finance, sales, and operations leadership to standardize definitions across acquired companies and replace manual consolidations with auditable, automated datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field required, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of progressive data engineering experience, including at least one enterprise data warehouse.
• Experience with ERP data environments preferred; Dynamics 365 Business Central familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement layered enterprise data warehouse consolidating multiple ERP systems and supporting business applications.
• Build and operate reliable nightly ingestion pipelines across heterogeneous sources (RDBMS, vendor exports, REST APIs, file feeds).
• Analyze and map legacy ERP schemas to a canonical dimensional model and maintain conformed dimensions and fact tables.
• Implement automated reconciliation between data warehouse and financial reporting systems for audit-ready close.
• Establish role-based access, data lineage, and IT controls aligned with SOX requirements.
• Support BI visualization layer with semantic models and dataset design for reporting teams.
• Evaluate data platform technologies and justify platform recommendations as needed.
• Integrate acquired companies’ systems into standardized data architecture as organization grows.
• Produce documentation for architecture, pipelines, controls, and operational procedures.
