Job summary

Vanta is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and optimize an analytics function. You will partner with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure the analytics stack meets current and future needs.

You will design data infrastructure, implement complex data orchestration, and craft scalable data systems across the enterprise. Strong SQL, data warehousing, and cloud tooling are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with data in a professional setting.
• 2+ years in Software Engineering or related field.
• Experience with analytics tooling (Stitch/Fivetran, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift, dbt, Airflow, Dagster).
• Strong knowledge of AWS data infra and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy data infrastructure for data-driven decision making.
• Model complex data orchestration and scalable reporting tools.
• Be the company expert on data administration and scalable data systems.
• Write highly tuned SQL over large data warehouses.
