The role emphasizes designing data pipelines, data models, and cloud infrastructure powering analytics and decision-making. The position requires onsite work 4 days/week in Austin, TX or Miami, FL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Python, SQL, dbt.
• Experience building production data pipelines.
• Azure cloud experience.
• Strong data modeling and architecture skills.
• Independent, ownership of initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks
• Develop and optimize data models for analytics and reporting
• Build and enhance cloud-based data platform capabilities within Azure
• Develop solutions using Python, SQL, and dbt
• Improve data quality, monitoring, reliability, and operational processes
• Partner with analytics, engineering, and business teams to deliver data solutions
• Own projects from design through deployment and support
