Job summary

Harnham in Miami, FL is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and evolve a modern enterprise data platform with ownership across ingestion, modeling, and platform development.

You will design and maintain scalable pipelines using Python, SQL, and dbt, develop data models, ensure quality and reliability, and partner with Analytics, Data Science, and business teams. This hands-on role offers broad exposure and growth in a fast-growing financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Strong experience with dbt and modern data transformation practices.
• Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines and ingestion processes.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT architecture.
• Experience with data quality, monitoring, and production data operations.
• Ability to independently own projects from design through implementation.
• Strong communication skills and experience partnering with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Develop and optimize data models supporting analytics, reporting, and downstream applications.
• Build and enhance an enterprise data platform with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Develop robust data solutions using Python, SQL, and dbt.
• Own engineering projects from requirements and design through deployment and operation.
• Implement processes around data quality, monitoring, reconciliation, lineage, and reliability.
• Partner with Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, and business teams to deliver high-quality data products.
• Troubleshoot complex data and pipeline issues and identify opportunities to improve existing systems.
