Location: Austin, TX or Miami, FL (Hybrid 4 Days/Week Onsite)
Compensation: Up to $170,000 Base Salary
About the Role
We\'re partnering with a rapidly growing financial services organization seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help build and scale a modern enterprise data platform.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role focused on developing data pipelines, data models, and cloud-based data infrastructure that power analytics and business decision-making across the organization.
Please note: Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX or Miami, FL and work onsite 4 days per week. This requirement is non-negotiable.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks
- Develop and optimize data models for analytics and reporting
- Build and enhance cloud-based data platform capabilities within Azure
- Develop solutions using Python, SQL, and dbt
- Improve data quality, monitoring, reliability, and operational processes
- Partner with analytics, engineering, and business teams to deliver data solutions
- Own projects from design through deployment and support
Requirements
- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
- Strong hands-on expertise with Python, SQL, and dbt
- Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
- Azure cloud experience
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Location Requirement
This position requires employees to be onsite 4 days per week in Austin, TX or Miami, FL. Candidates who are not local or unable to meet the onsite expectation will not be considered.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Revenue Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
- 3+ years of experience leading analytics or data science teams.
- Strong experience supporting Go-To-Market functions including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations.
- Demonstrated success influencing business decisions through data and analytics.
- Strong SQL expertise and experience working with Python-based analytics environments.
- Background in machine learning, predictive modeling, experimentation, and statistical analysis.
- Experience working with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Airflow, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of SaaS business models, subscription metrics, and revenue operations.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced and evolving environments.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance executive-level strategy with hands-on analytical leadership.
