Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, CS, Engineering, Math, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of data engineering/development or related experience.
• Experience applying statistical analysis, ML, anomaly detection, forecasting, classification to real-world problems.
• Strong Python skills for data analysis, algorithm development, and production workflows.
• Experience querying, transforming, validating, and analyzing large datasets using SQL and modern data tech.
• Ability to take analytical solutions from problem to deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
• Experience communicating results to stakeholders with varying technical levels.
• Strong data-quality mindset with ability to investigate discrepancies and explain limitations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with experts to define metrics, objectives, thresholds, and decision criteria.
• Analyze vehicle, software, warranty, diagnostic, fleet, and product-quality data for trends and risks.
• Design, test, and deploy anomaly-detection and pre-emptive-monitoring algorithms.
• Build end‑to‑end analytical pipelines turning raw data into insights, dashboards, alerts, and workflows.
• Create customer-focused visualizations for engineering and quality teams to investigate fleet and software data.
• Develop alerting solutions for rapid internal response to high-priority issues.
• Establish validation approaches using historical data, testing, and domain knowledge.
• Communicate findings, assumptions, and limitations clearly to varied audiences.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and cost of analytics products.
• Reduce data handling complexity by standardizing analytical processes and modern Azure-based tech.
• Support vehicle and software launches with readiness insights and tools.
• Document methods, data lineage, and operating procedures for reuse across teams.
• Contribute reusable patterns and mentorship to the analytics organization.
