Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop and operationalize analytics that flag emerging vehicle, software, and quality issues before they impact customers. You will partner with Product Quality, Warranty, Vehicle Engineering, and software teams to translate questions into trustworthy metrics, detection algorithms, dashboards, and alerts.

You will design end-to-end analytics pipelines, deploy models, monitor performance, and push for adoption at scale while maintaining

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data engineering/development or related experience.
• Strong statistical analysis and machine learning experience.
• Production-oriented data workflows with Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Define meaningful metrics, objectives, thresholds, and decision criteria.
• Identify trends and risks in vehicle, software, warranty, diagnostic, fleet data.
• Build end-to-end analytical pipelines transforming raw data into insights, dashboards, and alerts.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
