General Motors Corporation seeks a Senior Data Engineer focused on Agentic AI, automation, and data platforms. You will design and productionize scalable data pipelines in Azure Databricks, transforming diverse data sources into trusted data products for analytics, ML, and AI agents.

You will build automation, enable semantic patterns, and partner with data scientists to productionize AI solutions. The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL, Spark, and cloud experience,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in data engineering.
• Experience building and optimizing scalable batch and streaming data pipelines with Databricks and Delta Lake.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and productionize reliable, scalable data pipelines and data products in Azure Databricks.
• Transform raw data from multiple sources into trusted data products for analytics and AI workflows.
• Build automation and reusable engineering workflows to improve development speed and reliability.
• Design governed data and semantic patterns for AI-enabled applications (Vector Search, RAG).
• Develop batch/streaming pipelines with feature-ready training and inference data.
• Establish CI/CD, data quality, lineage, and observability patterns in production.
