DriveTime is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and govern scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Kafka. You will partner with analytics, product, and partners to translate complex data needs into trusted data models.

You will mentor peers, drive data quality, and contribute to AI-first automation within a fast-growing team across the DriveTime Family of Brands.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data/analytics engineering or related data discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience.
• Advanced SQL for transactional and analytical workloads.
• Experience with SQL Server and Snowflake platforms.
• End-to-end data pipelines and near real-time integration (Kafka, CDC, Snowflake).
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and enterprise data architecture.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data processing.
• Experience with dbt and ELT development methods.
• Hands-on with Argo or similar orchestrators.
• Git-based version control and CI/CD (GitHub/Azure DevOps).
• Experience leveraging AI/ML concepts for automation and insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, model, optimize, and govern data processes for growth and partners.
• Build scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Kafka.
• Ensure data quality and performance with CI/CD workflows.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product and analysts.
