Job summary

DriveTime Family of Brands is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Kafka. You will partner with analytics and product teams to deliver reliable data assets and governance, while mentoring peers and advancing AI-first data initiatives.

You will work across our data platforms to ensure data quality, performance, and real-time insights, contributing to the company’s data-driven decisions in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL expertise for transactional and analytical workloads.
• Experience with Snowflake cloud data platform.
• Proven data pipeline development using Kafka/Confluent/CDC.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with dbt and ELT development methods.
• Hands-on with Argo or similar workflow orchestration.
• Git-based version control and CI/CD (GitHub/Azure DevOps).
• Ability to apply AI/ML concepts for automation and insights.
• Strong stakeholder communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and models.
• Collaborate with analytics and product teams to deliver trusted data assets.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in data engineering.
• Drive CI/CD and data quality initiatives across pipelines.
