Job summary

Carrot is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to own scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and BI-ready data across analytics and reporting. You will build robust ETL/ELT pipelines with Python, dbt, and orchestration tools, while optimizing Snowflake, AWS, and Google Cloud environments. You’ll mentor teammates and drive data governance.

You’ll work with Business Intelligence, Product, Finance, Legal, and Commercial partners to enable secure, self-serve analytics and trusted data for decisions.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Snowflake, dbt, and Python for data modeling and pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills for large-scale data models and optimization.
• Experience architecting and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines with modern orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Administer and optimize cloud data warehouses/lakes (Snowflake, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Design secure data flows and automate reporting and analytics delivery.
• Mentor teammates and promote best practices in version control and workflow.
