DriveTime Family of Brands seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and govern scalable data processes across Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Kafka. You will model data and enable analytics, vendor integrations, and AI‑driven automation in an Agile environment.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product leadership, and ensure data quality and performance as the company grows across national markets. This remote role offers flexible work arrangements and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related data discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced SQL expertise supporting both transactional and analytical workloads.
• Experience with SQL Server and modern cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake.
• End‑to‑end data pipelines and near real‑time data integration using Kafka, Confluent, CDC, and Snowflake.
• Strong dimensional modeling, star schemas, and enterprise data architecture principles.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and integrations.
• Experience with dbt and modern ELT development methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Argo or similar workflow orchestration platforms.
• Git‑based version control and CI/CD workflows via GitHub or Azure DevOps.
• Experience leveraging AI/ML concepts for automation, predictive insights, anomalies, or intelligent workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders; mentoring teammates.
