Baker Tilly is seeking a Sr Data Engineer to join the founding team of the AI Product Group. This hands‑on role builds scalable, secure data pipelines and a governed data foundation that powers AI applications and intelligent agents across the firm.

You will develop data models, governance controls, and knowledge graphs, collaborate with data platform leadership and global teams, and deliver reliable, production‑ready solutions in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering or software engineering experience.
• Experience building/operating production pipelines on a modern lakehouse platform.
• Experience with data quality, lineage, or data contracts in production pipelines.
• Strong Python and SQL, ability to deliver production-quality data solutions.
• Knowledge of data modeling, governance, and enterprise data concepts.

Responsabilités

• Design and build scalable batch and incremental data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain lakehouse architecture with medallion layers.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and provenance across lifecycles.
• Build data models and identity resolution for clients and engagements.
• Implement data governance, access controls, and metadata management.
• Develop knowledge graphs and retrieval capabilities for AI applications.
• Support AI data readiness with ground-truth datasets and evaluations.
• Drive measurable data engineering quality through tests and benchmarks.
• Maintain data freshness with change data capture and versioning.
• Own production delivery and operational support for data pipelines.
• Collaborate with global teams to align with enterprise standards.
• Support strategic initiatives and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
