Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of at least one state bar.
• At least 4 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm environment, at a government agency, as a military judge advocate, or as in-house counsel.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
• 2+ years experience with AI and product development.
• 5+ years of experience as an attorney in a law firm environment, at a government agency, as a military judge advocate, or as in-house counsel.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Counseling & Support: Providing proactive, business-minded legal support and counsel to business and technical stakeholders across both the cybersecurity and eData organizations.
• Cybersecurity & Incident Response Support: Supporting legal guidance for cybersecurity operations, incident response preparedness, and technical risk management, helping ensure alignment with regulatory and legal requirements.
• Enterprise Data & Risk Management: Assisting in identifying, evaluating, and managing legal risks associated with data use, privacy, emerging technology, and data governance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating closely with Legal colleagues, Compliance, Risk, and technical teams to help develop practical, legally sound solutions for novel issues.
• Regulatory & Legislative Monitoring: Monitoring key legal, regulatory, and legislative developments in cyber and data realms to help inform business decisions and risk strategies.
• Disclosure & Reporting Support: Assisting with reviewing relevant legal disclosures, regulatory filings, and executive reporting related to cybersecurity and eData.

Education
