Job summary
Trility Consulting seeks an experienced Senior Data Consultant to modernize an Azure Synapse data platform and migrate workloads to Microsoft Fabric. You will partner with client engineers and Trility teams to architect, implement, and validate data pipelines, using PySpark and Spark SQL to deliver scalable lakehouse solutions.
The role emphasizes AI-assisted development with Claude Code, CI/CD automation, and governance considerations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Services including Fabric, ADF, Databricks or Synapse.
- Hands-on Fabric production experience with lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks, medallion architecture.
- Strong SQL for data transformation, validation, and tuning.
- Experience building metadata-driven ingestion frameworks with configuration-based onboarding.
- Proven ability to design and implement Git-based CI/CD for data platform artifacts.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and refine Microsoft Fabric architecture and metadata structures.
- Design a metadata-driven ingestion framework for onboarding new tables/sources.
- Migrate data workloads from Azure Synapse to Fabric and build Fabric pipelines.
- Develop PySpark/Spark SQL data transformations and notebooks.
- Implement data validation and reconciliation across source and target systems.
