Job summary

Trility Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Data Consultant to help modernize an Azure Synapse data platform and migrate workloads to Microsoft Fabric. You will partner with client engineers to refine Fabric architecture, build scalable ingestion frameworks, and migrate data into a modern lakehouse environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on PySpark, Spark SQL, and AI-assisted development with Claude Code.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Azure Data Services, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Synapse.
Hands-on Fabric production experience with lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks, medallion architecture, and capacity management.
Proven ability to design and implement metadata-driven ingestion frameworks and configuration-based onboarding.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and refine the Microsoft Fabric architecture, including metadata structures and reusable ingestion patterns.
Design and implement a metadata-driven ingestion framework for config-based onboarding of new tables/sources.
Migrate data sources from Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric and develop Fabric data pipelines and notebooks using PySpark/Spark SQL.
Implement data validation and reconciliation to ensure migration accuracy and build CI/CD workflows for Fabric artifacts.
