Job summary

Trility Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Data Consultant to modernize an Azure Synapse data platform and migrate workloads to Microsoft Fabric. You will architect metadata-driven ingestion, build scalable pipelines, and implement automated validation and CI/CD workflows.

You will partner with client engineers to refine Fabric architecture, develop reusable ingestion patterns, and ensure high data quality across migrations while leveraging Claude Code to guide AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Services including Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks
• Hands-on Fabric experience in production environments with lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks, medallion architecture
• Proven ability to design metadata-driven ingestion frameworks and scalable data pipelines
• Experience building and validating ETL/ELT processes and data migration projects
• Proficient in Spark notebooks and PySpark; strong SQL and data-quality validation

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine the existing Microsoft Fabric architecture and ingestion patterns
• Design metadata-driven ingestion framework for configuration-based onboarding
• Migrate data sources/workloads from Azure Synapse to Fabric
• Develop Fabric data pipelines and Spark notebooks with PySpark and Spark SQL
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, and lineage checks across Synapse and Fabric
• Establish Git-based CI/CD and environment promotion for Fabric artifacts
• Leverage Claude Code to guide AI-assisted development and review generated code
• Collaborate with client engineers to ensure reliable deployment from dev to production
• Analyze data sources and loading requirements; implement CDC where appropriate
• Provide operational support and best practices for performance, testing, and security
