Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a seasoned Data Collection Manager to lead the full lifecycle of data collection for DoD missions. You will coordinate across Combatant Commands, service components, and project teams to ensure accurate, secure data aligned with organizational standards.

You will mentor staff, establish procedures, perform QA/QC, and translate complex mission needs into clear data requirements while delivering regular executive updates.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI clearance required or eligible.
• 10+ years of professional leadership experience.
• At least 3 years in National Security space (Defense/Intelligence).
• Experience in proposal development (prep, analysis, writing, review).
• Proven track record in data collection, research, or field ops.
• Strong organizational and distributed-team leadership skills.
• Experience with federal government clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data collection activities across projects.
• Identify and pursue new data collection opportunities with DoD stakeholders.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary staff in data entry, review, and QA/QC.
• Establish rigorous procedures, schedules, and documentation.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to fix data gaps and inconsistencies.
• Translate mission needs into clear data requirements for teams.
• Provide high-level status updates to leadership and clients.
• Ensure data handling/storage/transfers meet security standards.
• Drive continuous improvement with new tools and methods.
