Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to lead the architecture and stewardship of critical data assets for our government-facing clients. You will own the full database lifecycle, ensuring secure, high-performance storage and seamless data flows for analytics and decision-making at the highest levels.

The role requires 8+ years in database administration and information system design, with active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

8+ years of database administration and information system design experience.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex database requirements to align with mission objectives.
Determine information needs, database relationships, attributes and data manipulation.
Design data flow and storage to optimize performance and reliability.
Define data output and reporting capabilities to meet stakeholders.
Coordinate and lead maintenance of large-scale DBMS environments.
Test and implement database changes and new designs in production.
Write detailed logical and physical database descriptions with security.
Provide technical direction to programmers and analysts for DBMS changes.
Serve as SME to answer complex database questions across the organization.
Monitor database performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
Organize data structures and modernize legacy systems with new designs.
