Job summary

Flexential is seeking a Data Center Technician III to support 24/7 operations, oversee provisioning workflows, and mentor junior staff. The role emphasizes strong knowledge of facilities infrastructure, Windows OS, and data center best practices.

You will own project-level tasks, participate in hiring, and coordinate safety and monitoring activities. A customer-focused, professional approach is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of networking (Routing, Subnets, protocols).
• Experience with building management systems (UPS, generators, HVAC, PDUs).
• Strong documentation, reporting, and ticketing discipline.
• Ability to operate in 24/7/365 environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor DCT I and II team members on operations and provisioning workflows.
• Provide guidance across tasks, documentation, and escalation paths.
• Own project-level responsibilities including resource allocation and deadlines for provisioning and maintenance.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding, with candidate evaluations.
• Train peers on reporting, monitoring, and access control procedures.
• Own access control systems, badge issues, and monitoring protocols.
• Lead site safety initiatives and emergency readiness.
• Communicate complex infrastructure concepts and remediation options clearly.
• Handle Remote Hands tasks with alignment to customer environments.
• Maintenance and PRJTASK requests with full ownership.
