Flexential Corp. is seeking a Data Center Technician I to provide 24x7x365 physical and Level II technical support to customers and internal resources.

The role requires understanding facilities infrastructure, Windows OS, PC troubleshooting, and applying standard procedures with a calm, professional demeanor. Key responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships, monitoring issues, adhering to security and cabling standards, and documenting tasks and time entries.

Qualifications

• Must provide excellent customer experience and professional communication.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC troubleshooting.
• Self-starter who is reliable and meets deadlines.
• Ability to follow procedures and escalate as needed.
• Candidates must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships; respond to calls and emails promptly.
• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues and alarms.
• Escalate to engineering staff as needed in a fast-paced data center environment.
• Perform security sign-in, badging, and escorting of visitors per security standards.
• Document time spent on tasks and support activities; complete timesheets on time.
• Follow Flexential Cabling Standards and other SOPs.
• Install hardware in cabinets per best practices; power and cabling verification.
• Maintain data center cleanliness and inventory; support shipping/receiving.
